# How can I change the name of my VDS/VDS Pro/VPS server?

To change the name of your VDS/VDS Pro/VPS server, follow the instructions below:

1. Login to the Control Panel by visiting [https://cp.vshield.pro/servers](https://cp.vshield.pro/servers)
2. Select the "Manage" button on the relevant server
3. Select the "Settings" tab, and then select the "Change Hostname" button. 
4. Enter a new hostname, and confirm the change. Please note, this change will only be applied on the panel. In order for the internal server hostname to change, you must reinstall the server.
