# How can I enable/disable Two Factor Authentication (2FA)?

To enable two factor authentication, follow the instructions below:

1. Head to our Control Panel by visiting [https://cp.vshield.pro](https://cp.vshield.pro). Enter your login details to sign in. 
2. Select your account profile in the top right hand corner, and select the "Account Settings" button
3. Scan the QR code provided on a compatible 2FA token application and enter a 2FA code provided in the application. Press the "Enable" button to complete the setup process. 

To disable two factor authentication, follow the instructions below:

1. Head to our Control Panel by visiting [https://cp.vshield.pro](https://cp.vshield.pro). Enter your login details to sign in. 
2. Select your account profile in the top right hand corner, and select the "Account Settings" button
3. Enter a 2FA code provided in your two factor authentication application of choice. Press the "Disable" button to complete the disable process.
